Walk in, call us on +44 1934832236, or book online; no booking needed for most wellbeing services.
All consultations take place in our private room, and whatever you share stays between you and the pharmacist.
You leave knowing what we found and what to do next, explained in plain language with no confusion.
High blood pressure has no symptoms for most people. The only way to find out is to check it. An estimated 5.5 million people in England have undiagnosed hypertension. Through the NHS Blood Pressure Check Service, our pharmacist carries out a clinic BP check in our private consultation room. If your reading is raised, we may arrange 24-hour ambulatory monitoring (ABPM). Results are shared with your GP. This service is free to eligible patients.
The NHS Smoking Cessation Service gives you structured support to quit, not just a leaflet. The service includes an initial consultation, follow-up sessions over up to 12 weeks, carbon monoxide testing, and nicotine replacement therapy. Varenicline, available as both a generic and under the brand name Champix, may also be available following a pharmacist assessment. Ask our pharmacist. Structured support significantly improves your chances of quitting for good. This is a free NHS service for enrolled patients.
Body weight affects blood pressure, diabetes risk, sleep quality, and how you feel day to day. Our pharmacist can talk through your weight in a practical, non-judgmental way at no charge. For prescription-only weight management medicines including Mounjaro, Wegovy, or Orlistat, those are available through our separate private weight management service. See our weight management page for details.
Pharmacists are not mental health professionals. We cannot diagnose depression or provide therapy. But if you have recently been prescribed an antidepressant, our pharmacist can support you through the NHS New Medicine Service, a free structured service expanded in October 2025 to include patients suffering from depression aged 18 and over. Two structured consultations over the first few weeks, one around 7 to 14 days after starting, and a follow-up shortly after.
The NHS New Medicine Service supports people with newly prescribed medicines for long-term conditions. It is free and involves two consultations over the first few weeks of starting treatment. Eligible conditions include hypertension, type 2 diabetes, asthma, COPD, heart failure, antiplatelet or anticoagulant therapy, osteoporosis, glaucoma, and depression (aged 18 and over, added October 2025). If your pharmacist identifies a concern, they will refer back to your prescriber.
You do not need a specific service to benefit from talking to a pharmacist. General health and wellbeing questions, medication concerns, or something you have been meaning to raise, bring it to us. Our pharmacist will give you a clear, honest view of whether it needs further investigation. Walk-in, wellbeing conversations are free and need no booking.
People often wait longer than they should before checking in with a healthcare professional. Here are some situations where a conversation with our pharmacist could genuinely help.
Blood pressure and blood glucose can drift out of range for years without symptoms. A quick BP check takes under 10 minutes. If you are over 40 and have not had any health check recently, it is worth doing. No reason needed beyond that.
Most quit attempts without support fail within the first week. Smoking is a physiological dependence, not a willpower problem. The NHS stop smoking service is free. Come in and we will help you build a realistic plan with clinical support behind it.
People often wait too long because they are unsure whether their concern is serious enough. A pharmacist can help you work that out. If it needs a GP, we will help you make the case. If it does not, we will reassure you. Either way, you will leave knowing what to do.
A new prescription or a change in dose raises questions that GP appointments often do not have time to answer. The NHS New Medicine Service is designed precisely for this. It is free, structured, and available for a range of long-term conditions. Ask us about it when you collect your prescription.
Months can pass between reviews when you have diabetes, asthma, or COPD. A lot changes in that time. Our pharmacist can help you monitor, identify concerns early, and make sure anything important gets to your GP before your next scheduled appointment rather than after it.
You come in, we take you to our private consultation room, and we talk. Our pharmacist starts by asking what brought you in and what you are hoping for.
Depending on what you discuss, we may take a blood pressure reading, check your weight or BMI, review your current medications, or carry out a carbon monoxide test if you are thinking about stopping smoking. Every measurement is explained to you on the spot.
We give you an honest assessment. If something needs GP attention, we tell you clearly and help you understand what to say. If we can help directly, we will.
Consultations are confidential. We will not share what you discuss without your consent unless there is a clinical safety reason to do so. We will always be transparent about what we record and why.
A pharmacist can give clinical advice, assess symptoms, support medicine adherence, and supply medicines under an NHS service or PGD. A pharmacist cannot diagnose medical conditions or prescribe outside a PGD or Patient Specific Direction.
