Yatton Pharmacy: Prescription Collection & Delivery

You can post your prescription to Yatton Pharmacy or inform us at which surgery the prescription could be collected to ensure easy access to necessary medications.

For peace of mind, post prescriptions by First Class Recorded Delivery. Your post could be tracked and will be delivered sooner. Remember to add contact details as one of the pharmacists might want to discuss the prescription with you.

If it is a new item on the prescription or you are unsure about something, why don’t you give us a call first to discuss the issue, before posting the prescription?

Surgeries could be asked to fax prescriptions to Yatton Pharmacy, to speed up the delivery process. We will then collect the prescription from them.

Delivery is free of charge and will be done delivery driver, registered post or courier service as per arrangement with you. Our pharmacists are always available to provide expert advice on your health concerns and treatments.

This pharmacy offers the Electronic Prescription Service, which allows you to choose or “nominate” a pharmacy to get your NHS prescriptions or appliances from.

Your GP then sends your prescription electronically to the place you have nominated, this means:

• If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription, saving you time.
• You will have more choice about where to get your medicines from because they can be collected from a pharmacy near to where you live, work or shop.
• You may not have to wait as long at the pharmacy as your repeat prescriptions could be prepared before you arrive.
